John Propst is a PhD/MBA investor and product operator building the future of neurotechnology and brain health. He is Managing General Partner of Ground Effect Ventures and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Wyss Center in Geneva. Previously a Principal at Nexus NeuroTech Ventures ($230M AUM) — acquired in 2026 by Sergey Brin's family office — he led early-stage deals and a foundry-style incubator, backing founders across neuromodulation, therapeutics, diagnostics, and digital health. Earlier, he built and scaled products at Verily (Google Life Sciences) and Apple. An avid sailor, John invests people-first.
