Bertrand Duplat

Bertrand Duplat is the Co-founder and CEO of Robeauté, spearheading the development of the groundbreaking medical microrobot that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in neurosurgery. He has over 30 years of expertise in robotics and 3D technologies as a seasoned serial entrepreneur, inventor, and innovator. An expert robotics engineer, his background is in designing complex systems for extreme environments, including space, energy, and undersea applications. Bertrand has led two startups to successful exits, including Virtools, acquired by Dassault Systèmes. Holding more than 50 patents, his early research at McGill University sparked his passion for haptics and robotics.
