An ongoing dealflow-sharing partnership between ARIA and Nexus Neurotech, now carried over to Ground Effect Ventures — widening access to early neurotech opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.
ARIA and Nexus Neurotech first crossed paths through the BrainTech Alliance, and quickly found their mandates were complementary: a leading research funder on one side, a specialized neurotech investor on the other, both looking at the same emerging science from different angles. Rather than leave it at a good conversation, the two set up an ongoing dealflow-sharing partnership, opening a direct channel to trade signal on early-stage opportunities and coordinate around companies neither would have reached alone. The relationship has since carried over to Ground Effect Ventures, John's new firm, and remains active today, a reminder that the strongest Alliance connections outlast any single fund or job title.
